You will do this based on an individual assignment description with clear objectives.

The role of a youth coach includes planning and coordinating intended meetings with the child/youth, your immediate supervisor, the adults the child lives with, and our clients. During the meetings, you are responsible for ensuring that the planning for the current meeting is followed. Meetings primarily take place in public spaces or in the home where the child resides.

After each meeting, you are responsible for compiling a written and verbal report to your immediate supervisor and clients. You will also participate in planning meetings/discussions with your immediate supervisor and clients. You may also attend meetings with other stakeholders involved in the child's or youth's life.

To be a youth coach, you need to be secure, flexible, attentive, and structured. In addition to requiring a university degree in social work, personal suitability is crucial.

Scope

The meetings are regular and can occur on weekdays and weekends. Often, meetings take place with a one or two-week interval. Meetings usually last between one to two hours per occasion.

The work involves flexibility and variation, where you are involved in planning your working hours in dialogue with your immediate supervisor.
